Refund Policy

The short version

FacePause is a one-time purchase — no subscription, no recurring charges. If the app doesn't work on your Mac, contact us within 30 days and we'll sort it out, including a full refund if we can't fix it.

30-day satisfaction guarantee

If FacePause isn't working as described — camera detection fails, the app crashes consistently, or it's simply not compatible with your setup — email us within 30 days of purchase and we will issue a full refund.

We'll first try to help you resolve the issue. If we can't, the refund is yours. No need to justify it, no hoops to jump through.

How to request a refund

Email contact@facepause.app with:

  • Your order number (from the Lemon Squeezy receipt)
  • A brief description of the issue
  • Your macOS version (Apple menu → About This Mac)

We'll respond within 1–2 business days.

What we don't refund

  • Requests made more than 30 days after purchase
  • Situations where the app works as described but you changed your mind — though we're happy to help you get value from it first

EU / EEA consumers

If you are based in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days from the date of purchase. This right applies unless you expressly consented to immediate access to the digital product and acknowledged that this waives your right of withdrawal. Lemon Squeezy handles this as the merchant of record.

Regardless of the above, our 30-day guarantee is broader than the statutory minimum.
